Well my dear friend...you asked, now you receive!
Today, March 3rd, I sat outside in beautiful weather...probably one of the last days until the next time the weather changes...in November.
The weather channel says that we will go into the 80's and hit 90 this week!
So we had a few days of spring...and it's not even spring yet! This is what I really don't like about this place!
But to be fair, we have had a very mild winter...and it's been beautiful! Not enough rain...but the temps have been very nice.
Good news! I did receive a nice little cost of living increase (merit raise) and a bonus...imagine that!
I was one of the organizers of a huge Contractor event that Rosemont put on on Wednesday! We had almost 400 people there!
It went off w/o a hitch, and everyone to my knowledge was extremely happy!
I even got some OT out of it!
I have a few pictures and I will work at posting them for you. There is one of me and my supervisor Kelly who was the other organizer and a extremely friendly server named William! He is from the Yucatan...and he received the Westin La Paloma wild coin from us for being the most customer service oriented server! That's what the picture is!
So, the birds were singing, digging, flying all around today! The sky was blue! The leaves are starting to bud out on the tree! Rick actually went out and started to clean up the yard today! Been awhile...we are going to put in sod this year....plant flowers, etc....
Last year was pretty ugly back there, maybe this year we can make it pretty again!
